Your data stays with you
streambeats.live v0.1 has no accounts and no database. Your MP3 files, playlists, covers and theme settings are stored exclusively in your own browser (IndexedDB and localStorage). We never upload them and cannot access them.
Track metadata
To auto-fill titles, artists and cover art we query the Last.fm and iTunes Search APIs through our server. Only the artist name and track title are sent — never the audio file itself, and nothing that identifies you.
Stream Out mode
When Stream Out is enabled, the currently playing track is relayed through the app server to your OBS widget. It is held in process memory only, never written to storage, and disappears on track change or server restart.
Cookies & analytics
We use no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics. Our host (Vercel) may collect standard server logs (IP address, request time) required to operate the service.
